Privacy Policy

SwampLink LLC · Version 1.0 · Last revised on: August 29, 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how SwampLink LLC (“Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and discloses information about you when you use the website located at www.swamplink.com and any related services we offer (collectively, the “Site”). By using the Site, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.

1. Information We Collect

1.1 Account and Profile Information

When you create an account, we collect the information you provide, which currently includes: your name, your email address, and (optionally) your ZIP code. If the Site offers AI-related features tied to your account, we may also collect a name you assign to that feature (e.g., a name you give to an AI assistant or agent). We intend to offer a more detailed profile option in the future; if we do, this Policy will be updated to describe what additional information is collected at that time.

1.2 Payment Information

If you purchase a subscription or make a payment through the Site, payment is processed by Stripe, Inc. (“Stripe”), our third-party payment processor. We do not collect or store your full payment card number ourselves; Stripe collects and processes that information directly, subject to Stripe’s own privacy policy and security standards (see https://stripe.com/privacy). We retain records of your subscription status, billing history, and the billing email/name/ZIP associated with your account as needed to administer your subscription.

1.3 User Content and File Uploads

The Site does not currently offer file uploads. We plan to allow file uploads and other user-submitted content as a feature in the future; before any upload feature is made available to users, this section will be updated with the specific storage location, accepted file types, and retention mechanics.

Any User Content or files you submit are handled in accordance with the Terms of Use and this Policy. You are responsible for the User Content you submit and should not upload information you do not want processed or stored as described here.

1.4 Automatically Collected Information

The Site uses privacy-conscious, cookie-free web analytics that do not collect personally identifiable information (e.g., aggregate page-view and traffic data). Our analytics are self-hosted: we run our own instance of the open-source Umami analytics software on our own infrastructure, so this data is not shared with any third-party analytics provider and never leaves systems we operate.

This automatically collected information may include your browser type, general geographic region (derived from IP address, which is not stored in identifiable form), pages visited, and time and date of your visit.

1.5 Cookies and Tracking Technologies

The Site does not currently use advertising or non-essential tracking cookies. We may use minimal, strictly necessary cookies (for example, to keep you logged in to your account). If we introduce advertising or analytics cookies in the future, we will update this Policy and, where required by applicable law, obtain your consent before doing so.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use the information described above to: provide, operate, and maintain the Site and your account; process payments and manage subscriptions; communicate with you about your account, transactions, or changes to our policies; monitor and analyze usage to improve the Site; detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or technical issues; and comply with legal obligations.

3. How We Share Your Information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information with: service providers who perform services on our behalf (such as Stripe for payment processing, and our hosting providers), each of whom is authorized to use your information only as necessary to provide services to us; other parties when required by law, subpoena, or other legal process, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of Company, our users, or others; and a successor entity in connection with a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy or a materially similar one.

4. Data Retention

We retain your information for as long as your account is active, plus an additional default period that depends on your account type. Where the Site allows it, you may be able to request a different retention period for your account or data than the applicable default. Absent such an override, data is retained according to the default for your account type and deleted or anonymized thereafter, except where we are required to retain it longer to comply with legal, tax, or accounting obligations, or to resolve disputes and enforce our agreements.

5. Your Rights and Choices

Access and Export. You may request or self-service download a copy of the personal information associated with your account at any time.

Deletion. You may delete your account and associated personal information at any time, using the self-service tools provided on the Site, or by contacting us using the information in Section 10. Deletion is subject to the retention exceptions described in Section 4.

Correction. You may update or correct your account information at any time through your account settings.

Depending on your location, you may have additional rights under applicable law (such as the right to object to or restrict certain processing). To exercise any of these rights, contact us using the information in Section 10.

6. Children’s Privacy

The Site is not directed to individuals under the age of 18, and consistent with our Terms of Use, you must be at least 18 years old to use the Site. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If we learn that we have collected personal information from a person under 18, we will take steps to delete that information.

7. Data Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and physical safeguards designed to protect the information we collect. However, no method of transmission over the internet or method of electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

8. Third-Party Links

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services that are not owned or controlled by Company. This Policy does not apply to those third parties, and we encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing them with information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email (if we have your email address) and/or by posting a prominent notice on the Site prior to the change becoming effective. Your continued use of the Site after a change becomes effective constitutes your acceptance of the revised Policy.
