What to check when approving a draft does not go as expected

Approving a draft writes the post, rebuilds your site, and records a git commit. Here is what to check when that does not seem to happen.

The approve conflicted

What you see: a message that the draft was already decided.

Why: two decisions reached the same draft at once (two tabs, or the admin app and a script). Only the first goes through.

Fix: refresh the dashboard. If the post is listed under What your AI published, the first decision was an approve. If the draft is gone and the notes are back in the queue, it was a reject.

The post is not on the site yet

  1. Check the dashboard: is the post listed as live?
  2. Hard-refresh your site (Ctrl+Shift+R, or Cmd+Shift+R on a Mac), or open it in a private window.
  3. If it is listed as live but still not showing after a refresh, email dev@swamplink.com.

Storage

The Storage card shows what you have used against your plan's cap (Free: 100 MB; Normal: 2 GB). At 80% or more, the attention line flags it. Deleting posts from the admin app is not available yet, so if you are near the cap, upgrading is the option.

Suspended site

If your site is suspended, the admin app shows a banner explaining why and what to do. Your content and its history are untouched, and Download your data still works.

Undoing a publish

Not available yet from the admin app. Every publish is a git commit, so nothing is lost, but rolling a post back is not self-service.
